BUSINESS COUNCIL

The Krosno Business Council is a team of advisors with whom we discuss the development of Krosno, creating the best possible conditions for conducting business, investing, and adapting public services to the needs of entrepreneurs.

The Council consists of 25 members, representing all the most significant industries in the city, including manufacturing, the service sector, hospitality, gastronomy, craftsmanship, and business services. We have representatives from business environment institutions, as well as the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno, which is a crucial partner in business discussions. In an open call for the Council, we managed to form a team that represents a kind of cross-section of local entrepreneurship, including both representatives of the largest Krosno-based companies and smaller entrepreneurs.

Why are we doing this? Krosno is a city of entrepreneurial people, a very strong economic center in the region. Many issues handled by local government on a daily basis directly impact the conditions for conducting business. We want to have current information about the problems and challenges faced by local entrepreneurs. We not only want to take their opinions and feedback into account, but also encourage them to propose solutions. Important decisions that affect entrepreneurship and the city’s development should be formulated with the participation of local businesses.
