The Entrepreneurship Development Program of the City of Krosno for the years 2023-2030 is a document developed to stimulate the entrepreneurial potential in Krosno, as well as to support and develop the business sector.

The document was created as part of the project titled ‘Krosno – development of documentation as part of support for the development of cities – POPT 2014-2020,’ co-financed at 85% by the European Union funds under the Cohesion Fund, within the Operational Program for Technical Assistance, and 15% from the national budget.

The program was developed through a participatory approach, taking into account the opinions of students, for whom surveys were conducted, entrepreneurs who were interviewed in-depth, and the Krosno Business Council, which participated in workshops concerning the planned tasks.

The Entrepreneurship Development Program sets tasks for implementation in various areas impacting the economic development of the city. Significant areas covered by the program include:

• Preparation of personnel with skills needed in the local job market,
• Creation of housing offers for employees,
• Improvement of entrepreneurial education,
• Active economic marketing,
• Development of economic infrastructure,
• Development of investment incentive policies,
• Support for entrepreneurs.

The Entrepreneurship Development Program of the City of Krosno for the years 2023-2030 was approved by Decree No. 2302/23 of the Mayor of Krosno on December 20, 2023.
